Just a little something to keep the world informed about the life, laughter, and love in the Fruth home. Enjoy!

Stake Conference
I love conferences. General, Stake, Women's whatever the occasion. I thoroughly enjoyed Saturday night and thanks to Jana for help with that. Before the session started she says "Hey Jessica and the kids are in the nursery do you want Emily to go with them?" So I ask Emily if she would like to play with Jessica, Spencer, etc... and she reaches out her arms to Jana and says "k". So a BIG thanks for a quiet and enjoyable Saturday session. Sunday, mmmm, not so much but what I did hear and got a chance to jot down notes on was wonderful. Oh by the way Jen, great minds think alike. We dressed the same again today. Jean skirt and brown top. We are way too cool. I love listening to President Misken. He always tells the best stories and they relate so well to gospel subjects. I loved president Shumard's counsel and reminder of the importance to Family prayer, scripture study, and family traditions. The gospel is a wonderful thing. I am so thankful to have it in my life. Then to help with the spiritual high for the weekend I had the greatest opportunity to speak at Spencer's baptism today. What an honor that me of all people was chosen to give a talk on the Holy Ghost. I hope he felt the spirit and the things I said stick with him. The gospel is TRUE! Life is beautiful. I love those opportunites to experience celestial things.

Okay for all you Non-Stomp Stompers. The actual stomp starts at 9:00 so I thought it would be cool to do it at the same time. So lets meet at the front doors of the Dupont Y at 9:00 a.m. YEAH!!! This will be so fun.

Mastadon Stomp
So the annual IPFW Mastadon Stomp is this next Saturday, the 26th. And since I don't have any money left in the budget thanx to the Bi-Annual Baby Resale today. So I decided in place of the Stomp I am going to walk the outdoor "track" at the Dupont Y twice which is about a 5K. I can't run because of my back but I can walk so if anyone is up to join me let me know.
Favorite Find
Since my steamer basket is in the storage unit this is my new favorite product. It is the easiest thing I have ever used in my entire life. The times are on the bag depending on a full or half full bag, you can do chicken, fish, veggies. LOOOOVVVVE IT! If you haven't tried it do and let me know what you think.

To Bake or Not to Bake
Yes, that is the question. Wednesday I was looking through a cookbook and saw a recipe for no bake cookies. I thought to myself, "I haven't had these in a long time that sounds great." I asked my wonderful hubby if he would make them while I was at mutual. When I got home he was getting everything ready to do so. We don't know what happened but they weren't no bake cookies. They become a big cement block, a burnt cement block. In Brock's defense he has only ever made them on his mission and they had bar chocolate not powdered cocoa so that is the only way he knew how to make it. And since we only had cocoa and no bar chocolate....
We have the end result on video but unfortunately I can't put it on the cd until we finish filling an finalize the disc. Brock was so sad. I asked him what was wrong and he morosely said "I wanted to make these for you." :-(
Bless his heart. I really have married the sweetest man in the whole wide world. Sorry ladies. So I'm off to Aldi's for milk (It's only $2.39) and more oats so we can try again. Too-da-loo!

Fun in India
Well, sort of. Last night a bunch of us went to A Taste of India Restaurant, so we weren't exactly in India. But there was mood music and the food was authentic. It was so much fun to just get out with the girls and enjoy good food. I would suggest an every other month restaurant outing where we do a family style sample of everything like last night. I don't know about any one else but I need those times to just be with other women and enjoy. Don't get me wrong I love my husband and daughter but it is so nice to do something just for me. If I need it with only one child I can imagine how everyone with say 2 or more needs it. Thanks so much ladies it was too much fun.

Who Will Win?
So We are Biggest Loser fans at the Fruth home (I guess this is something interesting I could at least have been blogging about; the finale is next week). Anyway Ali and oh my gosh her name escaped me the other girl, oh yeah Kelly, were above the yellow line. Roger and Mark fell below. But the show changed it this year and they didn't vote who would be the one to go to the finale; they are letting America decide. So I couldn't vote because I couldn't make a fair decision. I really want Ali to win. She is kicking bahoochee (pronounced ba-who-chi-like ti-chi) and she would be the first female winner. So I couldn't vote for Roger because he has the most weight to lose so he would beat ali even though Rog is my favorite between him and Mark. And I couldn't vote for Mark because at the last challenge he won meals prepared for him everyday by the Biggest Loser until the finale. He would have a huge unfair advantage. So in lieu of being the deciding factor vote I decided to not vote and let America decide who it would be and hold out for Ali. I can't wait to see. I get so nervous at the weigh ins every week. It is very nerve racking watching it I couldn't imagine doing it. That would be super stressful. Here is what happened last week. (wait til the lameo commercial is over. )http://www.nbc.com/The_Biggest_Loser_5/video/#mea=238205

Conference
I love Conference weekend. I love even more that we live in a world that has marvelous technologies at our fingertips. For instance the fact that within days you can re watch conference on the Internet so you can see all the talks that you missed while your child kept you out in the hall or mothers lounge. I love that it is printed in the Ensign so that we can re read the inspired words of our leaders. I love the fact that it was 65 degrees today and we have the windows open in the apartment. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that it has been restored and that there is a living prophet on the earth today to give us counsel and direction. I love that the priesthood is on the earth. I love my Heavenly Father. I love my Saviour, Jesus Christ. I marvel at what He has done so that I can return and live with Him again. I love that families can be together not only in this life but in the eternities. I love that if we strive to do what the Lord has commanded that He will bless us. Life is a wonderful thing. A great opportunity to learn and grow more like our Savior. I am grateful for all those I know that have touched and enriched my life to make me the person I am today. I love being alive.
